Hasselbeck will try to practice

This is just an example of the type of story we would cover. This is not our story.

Seattle Seahawks coach Jim Mora said Wednesday morning that quarterback Matt Hasselbeck will try to practice even though he’s still experiencing pain from the rib injury that has sidelined him for two games.

Mora sad he saw Hasselbeck experiencing a lot of pain on Monday but some of the pain eased up on Tuesday. The plan is for Hasselbeck to warm up and see how long and how much he will be able to do during Wednesday’s practice.

Left tackle Walter Jones won’t practice this week because of his sore knee, according to Mora. Defensive end Patrick Kerney is making progress trying to recover from a groin injury suffered Sunday in Indianapolis. He isn’t expected to practice Wednesday.
