Dr. Donald Teig – Over his career, he has evaluated and trained the vision skills of players from 11 Major League Baseball clubs, the men and women’s professional golf and tennis tours, several professional football, basketball and hockey teams, and most recently as the senior consultant to the Johnson & Johnson Worldwide Performance Vision Team for the 2008 summer Olympics in Beijing.

 

 


 

John Vanbiesbrouck – Grew up in Detroit Michigan, in 1981 was selected in the 4th round 72nd overall by the New York Rangers. Played his first game as an 18 yr old, beating the Colorado Rockies 2-1. Played 10yrs in NY, in 1986 won the Vezina trophy, which is awarded to the best goaltender in the NHL. In 1993 he was the 1st player selected in the expansion draft by the Florida Panthers.

 

Led the Florida Panthers to the Stanley Cup Finals in 1996. Went on to play for Philadelphia, NY Islanders and NJ Devils. Finished his career with most wins for a US born goaltender. Inducted in the US Hockey hall of Fame in 2007 after a 20 yr NHL career. Played in 4 AllStar Games, 5 World Championships, 2 Canada Cups and the Olympics in Nagano Japan in 1998.

John has been married for 23yrs to Rosalinde, they have 4 boys, Ian, Ben, Nick and Daniel. Currently living in Washington MI, John Loves the Lord, along with Golf and flying! .
